We are proud to announce The Green School Sixth Form was judged OUTSTANDING in our 2024 Ofsted inspection

The Green School Sixth Form currently consists of The Green School for Girls co-educational Sixth Form in Year 13 and The Green School Trust Sixth Form Consortium, comprising students from The Green School for Girls Sixth Form and The Green School for Boys Sixth Form in Year 12.  In Year 12, students from both schools are taught together in shared classes and tutor groups in order to develop communication and collaborative skills  and prepare students for success in the wider world. On enrolment into the Sixth Form, students, parents/carers and a Sixth Form representative sign the Three Way Partnership Agreement, committing to work together to create successful outcomes.

Our focus is on helping you to excel in your studies and in your personal development.

Extracts from our Ofsted (Graded 'Outstanding')

"Teachers are experts in their subjects and deliver learning in a clear and helpful way."

"This means that pupils make exceptional progress and are well supported to develop the skills they need to succeed."

"Pupils develop strong study habits, including in the Sixth Form where students are organised and self-sufficient."

"Sixth formers are well prepared for life beyond school through the experiences they receive in the classroom, and know how to debate and argue sophisticated issues."

"Pupils can participate in a wide range of activities to enhance their learning. For example, pupils in the sixth form can join in a ‘Music Jam’. Overall, Sixth formers receive an exceptional enrichment extension to their subject choices. All are expected to choose an interest or passion to develop further. Some pupils take up the ‘Extended Project Qualification’, and others choose a sports leader qualification or develop entrepreneurship skills as becoming a ‘Young Tycoon’."

"The school provides an extensive offer of trips and visits to both enhance subject learning and build on wider interests. For example, sixth formers are taken on a team building event at the beginning of their studies to build relationships between students, and include new joiners to the school."
